Official JETS vs. 49ers Game Thread

Folks....this is it.....in exactly 13 hours and 30 minutes from the time of this post...we will meet up with Shaun Hill and his crew in San Fran.

I think our biggest let down wasn't losing against Denver...but it hurt more to lose after so many well played games that we won! The mighty giants have lost their bad game against a bad team. The Patriots had a perfect regular season and lost their game against a team that wasnt better than them. Unfortunately for the Pasties...it happened in the Superbowl.

My point is that just because we lost to Denver doesnt mean that the team goes back to being the same 'ole JETS! This team is different..even when they lose. The mentality, the way they behave, the attitude...everything is different. Thanks players like Favre, Jenkins, Faneca etc...These guys are winners and they brought that winning mentality to us. We have already surpassed what most people had us doing this season and at the end of the day...we are still playing for which seed we will get in the playoffs!

This will be a game that will show that resolve and all that attitude and mentality that I mentioned above. Not just because this is a team that we should beat...but because this is a different JETS team taking the field. This is a different JETS team than the one that played the Chargers or the Raiders on the West coast earlier this season.

This is not about being an elite team or a team to fear...this is about being a team that can win games. We have proven we can do so...and to top it off we have proven that on the road against the so called "elite" teams in the league. Whether the win was pretty or ugly...we won those games!

And you know what....I will take this win we are about to get on the West Coast, on the road against a team that can potentially be playing as a spoiler and a team that thinks can beat us because they beat the Bills last week!

The smackdown will be served...the bitch slap is coming..the domination and establishment of of what it is to BLEED GREEN will be shown all over the Red and Gold.

We might even throw a few bodies over the Golden Gate...NY style!

Can't believe our pass Defense is so horrible already 7-0. Lets go JETS get it together.

They looki so stale out there they better start playing the way the JETS play football.

pass defense is horrific, hate to see what willhappen in playoffs against a peyton manning, we need to tighten up something fierce

This was unbelievable i notice all they do lately on offense is beside the run is screen and pass to keller or try a dumbass fake with brad smith that is the offense and it is terrible. Where is coles and cotchery they not getting the ball mangini is not a good coach at all and schotty call a dumb game and sutton has just got to get fired.

I dunno..what we are going to do. We looked flat again! I dont know if this was lack of execution or coaching or what! Something needs to happen quick if we will even make it into the playoff!
